Dental implants are a great option to replace missing teeth or help to retain a denture. An implant is a titanium post that is placed into the jaw bone and a then a replacement tooth is attached to allow it to function like a normal tooth. The teeth next to the missing tooth do not have to be altered as they would be for a bridge. Another option is to place implants into the jawbone and add adapters that will anchor a loose fitting denture.
